The only one who every hung up my art was my father… who did it to brag with my talent all the while he told me it sucked and I shouldn’t be proud of it.
I became an artist just to prove I’m better than him.
However, back when I was still with my ex, I’d constantly draw his DnD characters, and he always loved it. He was an artist too and actually did realism, but he always told me he loved my weird half cartoony art style, which I hated back then.
