    please note that even if you’re fully vaccinated, with AZ or any other vaccines, you’re not ‘protected’ from covid. Plenty of people do still get infected with covid after being vaccinated, However, the chances of developing serious illness are up to 90% lower after vaccination and that is the main benefit of the vaccine: to reduce your chances of being hospitalised or dying.

    Children naturally seldom have serious symptoms and that’s why it’s currently debatable whether or not vaccines for children are necessary.

    The reality is you will probably get COVID at some point, delta is just so contagious.

    The other reality is if you are younger and fully vaccinated, the odds are extremely high that you will be fine.

    The final reality is that kids are almost always fine with COVID. My opinion is, once elderly and immunocompromised are vaccinated with moderna/pfizer for their higher protection, use the rest of the pfizer on children, since it has been approved all the way down to 5 years old in the US.
