We even have a smart phone app for that. It reminds you when you can donate again, register your donation in advance. After donating, you can have some snack, milk and small “travel fee”.
Can you donate blood in Vietnam if you’re not Vietnamese? In Japan it’s very very difficult to do it if you don’t have native level fluency and there are a lot of obstacles
For anyone who thinks it works: good luck!!
When you need blood, the public blood bank is always “out of stock”. But doctors will always suggest you to buy from “service” banks. Of course the “service” banks are always full of stock and you have to pay the market price for it.
Yep, it’s been like this at least since I was first aware of blood donation (so at least 10 years now).

It’s written on every blood donation card: http://tieuhoctayson.edu.vn/Uploaded/Public/0/1/1/14075226_1251928334826397_2119923840_o.jpg

Yes.
But no interest. Worst kind of banks. /s
nice program
lmao that post for some reason led to a post made by an Australian to mocked our blood donating system.
Yea, I thought this is how it is done around the world before.
I used to donate blood, but the doctors started to ask too many questions!
Like: “Whose blood is this?” and “Why it’s in buckets?”
yes I live in Viet Nam so I know
So not really donate, but borrowed
Ye I have around 5 litter of blood in the bank in case of emergency
Sounds like the “origins of the mosquito” myth.
beautiful
You guys pay for medical bills ? Aren’t you guys supposed to be a socialist state ?
Wow TIL!
True
Yeah, it’s true
Lol how can you be so ignored to it? It is good for you and for society too
I donated once and got a wall clock.
Since this is interesting as fuck, I have the same chair as in the photo
Actually I want to donate blood when I can and this is awesome
Yes i got 7 of them.
Have “deposited” 2.5 liters ever since 1st year of uni. Good to know I’ll get back my fair share in case of trouble.
